Now there's a thought, I don't remember seeing a family gathering of you instruments Mr W, just the occasional singleton... nothing like a mod' to get us back on track... ;)

I will, probably not today though. Glare from the ceiling light is awful and no good natural light today. It's as dark, gloomy and rainy as Scotland!

Bad lighting pic. My latest two plus an oldie from 2004. One other not pictured. Other oldies long gone.

The Fender is gone? Or the Sub?

None of these are gone. I just took this yesterday. I have another Sub, all the other older ones are gone.

What is that lipstick pup Fender? Never seen one of those before.  :o You mean they really do build other basses besides P and J?!!!  ??? I thought that was an urban myth.

Classic Player Rascal... there was a thread about it earlier, very intriguing!  30" scale, and if you fiddle with the switches apparently you can get every possible pickup combination.

You missed an 11-page thread? Oh, of course, that's because it was in the Fender section.  :P  It was a limited run, based on a Custom Shop Masterbuilt one-off that had been shown at NAMM.

I told you about this one. It was shipped when I was flat on my back in the hospital last September. $700 that could have gone toward hospital bills, not returnable as it had to be special ordered at the time. If I had only known! But I'm glad I have it. I really like it.

This video gives you an idea of what it can do. Despite what the man says, the pickups are Seymour Duncan lipstick pickups that were designed for a special run Strat from 2013, not for the Rascal. And the bridge is the same one that was used on the mid-90s US Guild Starfire reissue.

There are a number of new ones on Ebay at $799 as I write this.  I think it's extremely cool.

I really like the look of those basses. The color/chrome/pearl combo looks really nice.

Mom told me not to spend too much time at the Fender section. That's no good company, she said.
