Maybe you should investigate another one, Mark. Great basses! Looks tiny next to all those others, doesn't it?

I love that Fenderbird.

Thanks! It's one of my favorites and really feels like MINE, since Carlo and I resurrected it from a decapitated wreck. I love it!

So it's time for my annual revival of this thread! Had another nice winter day so I cleaned off the carport roof and dragged a couple of basses out for a photo session - this time, my Fender Japan Precisions:

Now I feel like I've got a nice range of Fender sounds on hand - the Classic '70s with rounds and Alembic pups and the Dunn with flats. The neck on the Dunn feels a lot chunkier but I measured them with my calipers and they are exactly the same width and depth! Must be a radius thing...

This is after a massive thinning of the herd. Only the Höfner Senator is missing in this pic.

Well...here are some of my stranger Hamer Basses.

Wow, a quad bass! Cool stuff. What did they actually call those little LP Jr. style basses? I mean the regular 4 string ones.

B04s, descriptive yet unimaginative moniker. Those are hard to find, for me anyway. Been looking for years....I may just have to make my own. 8)

Well...here are some of my...Basses.

I like it when someone posts a photo of 10 basses with the comment "here are some of them". It makes me feel better about having as many as I do. :)
