Did a little more tweaking. The E and A saddles had been switched at one time (A is taller) so I reversed them and was able to lower the action and flatten the neck more to my liking. Plays even better and the intonation is good too.
Either of you guys want a couple rosewood sticks? They are slotted and only rough shaped for saddles.
Really? How much?
Forgot to post after practice last week. All went well with the M 85. It really sounded great through the Mesa M-Pulse amp. I had toned it down a bit by putting DA half rounds on it. Turned the treble on the amp up a bit and it had a nice bassy thump and bottom end with a clear high end. Lots of fun to play as well. Even with the big old heavy tuners, it wasn't neck diving on me. A winner for sure!
