Finally got a small bit of sun. Im excited I may have a job, some nice weather & a bach bass all in 1 week.(2out of 3 aint bad)Im having to learn some knob adjusting with this unusual lil 'critter I have here. I still have to tweek the nut/saddles although I never did mind a buzz,if you know what i mean . Thanx for all the encouragement,inspiration & support.M :mrgreen:

That is what I call a special bass! Very nice! In that last pic it looks like a praying mantis! :D

That thing is WAY too cool! Blows away any of those guitar of the week things Gibson made. I would love to have one. Nice concept, nice work!

I just remembered I have to do some measurements for one of the members(oops,sorry). Someone else ,early in the project said Praying mantis. Cool bug,cool bass i guess. Thanx.

I'm interested in those string guides. What did you use for those?

I'm the one who asked for measurements and basic tracing. Now that I see it completed with that cool pickguard, I definitely want to build one.

It really looks like this model was a bass project all along, not a bass version of a guitar.
