From his years in Fort Worth (he's now in Vegas), Ray Duke on bass and vocals.

Probably my favorite Cream number along with I Feel Free.

I know. That really does disqualify me as a credible Cream fan.

They play it well btw.

Badge is difficult to sing while playing that bass line. DAMHIKT.

Yeah, the bass line basically battles against the vocal line, but brilliantly so! Not that Jack had to bother about that as it was sung by Eric, right?

I only learned recently that this was a George Harrison co-write. Makes sense.

Oh my, never heard of these guys until now, really obscure, but certainly ahead of their time for 1969. Swiss band, hence the H.R. Giger sleeve artwork preceding ELP's Brain Salad Surgery several years. Have to listen to this more extensively, but it sounds like a real discovery, thanks!

The only 60ies Swiss rock band I was aware of is Krokodil, my elder brother had their album:

Oh my, this is great, a Progster's wet dream ...

One of my favorite Leo songs, an one of my favorite Tom T. Hall compositions.

Indeed. Wetton was a truly unique talent. Never perfect, always awesome.

Hey he's not bad. I've heard the name but always mixed him up with Lee Konitz. Totally different guys.
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

Some English hard rock singer channeling his inner Buddy Holly and Elvis on a Grand Cayman holiday stay ...

Some Welshman channeling his inner Smiley Lewis.
