We just completed a room-refin, and I thought I'd take advantage of the empty space for a current group shot  :)

I thought I should offer this photo of "The Gretsch Brothers".

From left to right, Gretsch 5123 Hollowbody 32" scale, ThunderJet 6128 30.5" scale, Junior Jet 1222 34" scale...

Thanks Mark!

Earlier this year, I let go of a couple of basses that I've owned 25+ years (one was my main bass back then, but I hardly played it in recent years)... I thought that might be difficult, but I've found that I don't miss them at all.  Every one in that pic has been getting gigged (even the EB-2D recently - sounded great live with it's choke mod!).  The only one that never gets taken out is that 13+ pound Ibanez 8er, but I love playing it at home.  Quite a bit different from the Ric 8, and so I can rationalize hanging onto it for a while.

Favorites are still the Triumph, 76 Bird, and 73 Ric.

Really? I've always thought that it was a scale comparison against guitar players. Female fans agree.

Aussie Mark

We moved house recently and I no longer have a spare wall large enough to hang all my basses on display, so I had to go to Plan B - found some compact case racks that fit nicely in the corner of a room ....

Cheers

Dang, that is a small room! You might have to change from bass to ukulele!
