Yup, there always is that ice skater mom element. It'll probably come to a head when she turns adolescent.

I have the same feelings: it's great and warming to see kids as good as her, or that awesome drummer Yoyoka, but the pushy parent aspect is troubling... Good analogy to athletes...

Basses: Gibson lpb-1, Gibson dc jr tribute, Greco thunderbird, Danelectro dc, Ibanez blazer.  Amps: genz benz shuttle 6.0, EA CXL110, EA CXL112, Spark 40.  Guitars: Danelectro 59XT, rebuilt cheap LP copy

And here's a slightly more mature woman playing with Dragonforce. No idea if she had a pushy Dad. Anyone here know what LP shaped bass that is?

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

I found out about this band by accident not long ago.  The lead guitarist had a video talking about something which I don't even remember now.  He barely even mentioned his band Dragonforce.  But that bassist is Alicia Vigil.  The bass is a Zemaitis A22MF.  She also has a Gibson Grabber.

I've always liked this song - Moreso now that I see a Les Paul bass.

Resident T Bird playing Drag Queen www.thenastyhabits.com  "Impülsivê", the new lush fragrance as worn by the unbelievable Fräulein Rômmélle! Traces of black patent leather, Panzer grease, mahogany and model train oil mingle and combust to one sheer sensation ...

Before "Rock Me Amadeus" Falco turned to his Vienna rap, he was a proficient bassist with jazzy Austrian freaksters Drahdiwaberl - mostly with Fenders.

But here at 17:00 he returns to a Gibson Les Paul Standard (first run with still the holy immaculate three-point and not the later Warwick string holder clunker of a bridge) of all basses.

Duff McKagan and prototype LPB-3?. It looks like a Schaller 460 bridge instead of the 3-point. Also lacking the Flaming Cup headstock inlay. It has the Les Paul Standard silk screened logo. I've read somewhere it was a gift from Axl.

He probably still owns it. This more recent unbloated Duff image suggests that:

Yup, I remember that. Didn't know it was a prototype. Likely active

My old band Superfloor is going to do a one-off reunion show later this year. We haven't played with each other for at least 10 years. While digging through an old hard drive, I came across video recordings that we made in 2008 in a bar called Loonies, Nijmegen. Our plan at the time was actually to put the entire concert on DVD. But in the end that never happened. The video quality just wasn't good enough and there was a phase problem with the audio. We put a few songs on YouTube at the time. But this version of You're So Cold was forgotten.
It's actually a shame, because looking back I think it's quite nicel 😉

I used my Gibson Les Paul Bass prototype on two songs that night. One of the very few gigs that I ever brought it with me on the road.

After having been subjected to Burning Witch, I can't help it, but I need some philosophical guidance, here from 10cc advising me that Life Is A Mine-Mine-Mine-Minestrone featuring Graham Gouldman with a first generation Les Paul Bass.

Not all music needs to be suicidal.

I don't know what it is. But it is not a Gibson Les Paul Bass.
Chrome pickups. Four (2x2) pot knob pattern. Bolt on maple(?) neck. Rectangular switch panel on upper bout.
