todays debridement went well which means no cute little redhead with a number 15 scalpel digging on me. it did have to be srubbed with a rough 4x4 to remove the nasty stuff. here are a few shots taken today:
before

after

ready to be placed under the tree, this is Mike working on me and my g/f cut my hair yesterday.

Dang.  Simply dang.

I haven't seen anything like that since a motorcycle accident in 1966 cut my leg half off.  NOT anything you wish on yourself, or anyone you cre about.

You hang in there, Sniper, and get better!!!!!!!!!!!

chicks dig scars, so this one is going to be my running through the jungle escaping from the VC carrying three Vietnamese orphans, two SE Asian whores and a Les Paul Signature bass on my back scar.

Ouch...

A little extra (terrestrial) help...? ;)

My dad had something like that on his leg from some Jap shrapnel, May 25th 1944 - took him out of the war; his third wounding in 18 days - what I did not know was the stuff that was not visible - another bit of shrapnel cut an inch deep swath through his butt... :o

He would not be drawn on the subject and I only know of this from his writings...

Keep the chin up, dear chap...!
