Dead Band Walking

Well, it took me long enough, but after 30+ years of playing, it looks like I'll finally be on a publicly released album.  My old indie band, kelp, is releasing Dead Band Walking to iTunes on Mar. 15 - the ides of March.  Fitting date.  We also expect the album to be on Amazon before too long.

We have a Facebook page, with some samples on the Band Page tab.

beware of guys in togas with shiny, pointy things. other than that good for you guys. in the old days we released our records on vinyl. as much as i like vinyl the internet is the only way to go these days. good luck.

I'm really happy with it.  I think I ended up using 4 basses in all.  The Embassy is the main one, but I used the fanfret on one cut ("Kerosene"), the scroll bass on another ("Meteor"), and I think that there was an old track from a few years ago that was salvaged, and that has my old L-2000 Tribute.  I even punched in a small part with the Magnatone.
