Dead Band Walking
« on: March 10, 2011, 07:27:55 AM »
Well, it took me long enough, but after 30+ years of playing, it looks like I'll finally be on a publicly released album.  My old indie band, kelp, is releasing Dead Band Walking to iTunes on Mar. 15 - the ides of March.  Fitting date.  We also expect the album to be on Amazon before too long.

We have a Facebook page, with some samples on the Band Page tab.

I'm really happy with it.  I think I ended up using 4 basses in all.  The Embassy is the main one, but I used the fanfret on one cut ("Kerosene"), the scroll bass on another ("Meteor"), and I think that there was an old track from a few years ago that was salvaged, and that has my old L-2000 Tribute.  I even punched in a small part with the Magnatone.
