just got off the phone with Jason @ Hipshot. bought a chrome tailpiece. with a little emailing he discounted one to me. i can't say how much but if you are interested and associated with a builder or are a builder, he prolly would discount your purchase (there is always a chance). definately worth the effort!  ;D

So you got one of the beefy one's from their new bridge?
I'm fixin' a hole where the rain gets in..........cuz I'm built for a kilt!

getting ready to head for the post office as i type. Jason said they are at the chrome shop and will prolly be ready to ship early next week.

Carlos is sending the specs and patterns from his 60 EBO ... needing a neck through made to fit the body i bought.

Not bad for what it is. Too high for OEM, though you can get an OEM price direct from Hipshot if you're in business and buy enough.

I prefer the Duesenberg bridge plus tailstop

Doesn't look as "far fetched" as the Hipshot with all its unnecessary curves.

Where might the Duesenberg be available from?
It takes a very deep-rooted opinion to survive unexpressed

I bought mine at Tonefactory in The Netherlands

52 euro for the bridge (71 USD)
and 32 euro for the tailstop (43 USD)

So Sniper was quoting the list prices I assume.  I really do like the look of that bridge.  Quite elegant.

I guess so. But still quite steep.
On the www.goeldo.de website it says suggested retailprice 75 euro (102 USD)
Goeldo (or Göldo) is from Dieter Gölsdorf the founder and owner of Duesenberg

They also have a trapeze piece that goes with this bridge. So you have the choice between a trapeze and tailstop

yeah i was quoting retail prices.

that trapeze setup would look great on a goldtop LP Bass
