I've got a bike, you can ride it if you like, it's got a basket, a bell that rings, and things to make it look good. I'd give it to you if I could, but the Germans got to it first...  ;D

LOL! Syd was great.
Don't be stupid, be a smartie - come and join die schwarze Hardware party!

You're still not over the 1974 World Cup final, are you?

I remember that day fondly.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...

I'm not an England fan (but being an ex West Ham follower, I could not resist) but are you forgetting 1966...?

"They think it's all over... it is now..."

If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

You won that unfairly, because we didn't get a chance at out customary penalty shooting blitz!!!

I just feel sorry (NOT) for any Frenchies in Eire at the moment...

Being of Scottish descent, it would be equally cruel to note that commonly sung (by the English) footie song... "Two World Wars and one World Cup, Doo-dah... Doo-dah..."

Where are you based, Iome... (and what's the name...?) I'm guessing european links here...?

Ah, just spotted it... Ciao...

Can I join in and comment about our accomplishments in "soccer" (hate this word, apparently comes from 'association')?

Ah, just spotted it... Ciao...

Half Dane and half Italian, Been living between the two countries for a lifetime, I have now settled down in the Nothern Italy near the lake of Garda, not the best choice economically talking, but the lifestyle here is wonderfull.

Talking football, I think the americans (US) are getting better everytime they play, they've got a whole continent with multietnic population, there's gonna be some great (future) player there....if only they where interested....
