I also wanted the oversized headstock of the JAE ones (he had a lot with this smaller headstock too), but Warwick doesn't offer that anymore...
Mine's passive with vintage humbuckers. Maple neck through and mahogany body. It sounds very middy. A great growl because Warwicks have very strong necks. Playing it without a band I thought it was a bit too middy, too growly and with a lack of lows, but within my rockband The La La Lies it really cuts through the mix very wel!! Great sound. While playing it through my Hiwatt is just comes to live. Think a revving American V8:)
