Talking about Warwick: This one had a very nice matte paintjob. A bit satin like. It looked like a old Gibson. And there's a Buzzard in the back:

Its a pitty Warwick's don't have neck pickups as I generally like German engineering very much.

The guy in the middle of the original picture is married to Lita Ford and now looks like he works for WWE. The guy on the left has worn dead squirrels on his head since 1984 at least and that guitar is real. Isn't it sad that I know that?

Sadly you aren't alone in that knowledge George. I remember way too much about 80's bands!

Though there are some bands I don't really listen to all that much anymore, there aren't that many that I'm embarrassed to have liked back in the day. I saw Michael Angelo at the Troubadour before he added (returned?) the Batio, but I wasn't a big Nitro fan. I can also say happily that I was never a Slaughter or Nelson fan.

Dave W

I don't even know who it is, so chances are I never listened to them.

I do remember Lita Ford.

No, not the squirrel, NOT THE SQUIRREL...!

oops, forgot to measure the JP tee, back soonish...

... and I quite liked one song by Judy Tzuke and that was enough of an excuse to go and see her, up close...  ;)

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Only reason I know Lita Ford is because Neil Merryweather played bass with her for a while.

Okay, Brett - try googling her name and Runaways (and Joan Jett) and see why some 70's types went blind early in life, but don't recommend going to deep into the froth because I can not remember much that impressed - I discovered Heart before them, buying the first LP on release, and it did wonders for my playing style...  ;)

Oh she was in the Runaways?  I see. Thats why I only recognised her name in connection to Merryweather    ;)

I'm with you on the Heart thing. Still have about 5 LP's in the shed.

Lita's heyday was well after the Runaways - she was well packaged in every regard :o  Alas beauty wanes as does youth ;D  Last pick I saw of her she was rather large

Nocturnal

I saw Lita on 'That Metal Show' recently and she didn't look too bad at all. Not as great as the 80's, but then neither do I! :-[

Judas Priest tee...

measures 50cm from pit to pit and 60cm from front neck to end - too big...?

... and as part of your "METAL GOD" conversion and the problem you seem to be having with the musical accessory called "the pick", my daughter and I thought we'd assist...

this is what is known as a "pick"... use "named" for extra kudos... for example, "PIRANHA" ...

they come in a variety of shapes, colours and thicknesses...

this is how you hold one...

here is another example...

... and a third...

and finally, here is a demonstration of one in use...

I hope you have found this to be of some use...

I'll post some bass chords to give you extra "THRASH-METAL" cred for my next lecture...  ;)

ps if the tee suits pm the address and it's on it's way...  ;D
