I checked one of these out over the week end and was very surprised at how well made they are. Fit and finish are excellent, fret work is outstanding for a bass in this price range and it sounds really good even with the Mighty Mite pickups. The neck also has a nice full profile without being to beefy. So after much deliberation I went and picked one up ! What I am going to do with it I have no idea but it sure is cool and a whole lot of bass and fun for the $(I paid below MAP :) ). Not for everyone but if you are a Kiss fan I am sure you will like this bass. pics soon

I like it! I wish I'd snapped up a Punisher when I had the chance.

Imho way better than the ones Kramer put out.

All I have to say Kenny is I still have a day Job, anyone who can make a living playing bass has my respect.  ;D Gene was capable of some pretty cool bass lines.

Plus, he nailed Diana Ross and Cher when they were both still babes.  He get's my respect for that alone.

There was a funny story by Gene in an older Classic Rock mag.  He was banging Cher at the time and it was her birthday and he did not know what to buy her.  Cher suggested he go see Diana because she knew what Cher liked.  He said he got to Diana's apartment and she gave him a piece of chocolate cake, and then she gave him a different piece of chocolate cake.....

He said Cher and Diana weren't on speaking terms after that.   :)

Diana did the right thing. After all she "suggested" what Cher really wanted.

I just saw a friend of mine use a Kramer axe for a couple of songs at a gig. Sounded GREAT with the single DiMarzio Model G though a vintage SVT.

The Cort looks A-OK!

Oh a Model G would be the nuts ! If I use this out I am going to put a Dimarzio P pup in  it. Would be a lot of fun at the Halloween gig !

Ok like who didn't he nail ? Behind the hype is a thinking bassist, on almost everything I liked his sound, slightly overdriven and very un-fender like.
