Today the first new BaCHbirds have arrived.

I noticed a few things
The wood looks like Sipo to me. Both body and neck. (so no veneer, no maple)

Very strange! I live at the fifth storey of an appartment building. I never see birds on my balcony. I had my white Bird at the window, when a magpie flew onto the balcony! As if it was coming for the bass! I guess it recognized a cousin!

I have a bird-approved bird!!  ;D

(No it was not John Entwistle reincarnated as a bird. My cat Curtis is already JAE reincarnated as a cat.)

That really looks great in white.

Well you guys have convinced me.  I await rob's invoice.  a nice new TH-1 in red.  Always assumed i would get a burst but the pictures have swayed me and no whites are available.....   My 76 used to be a burst until the prior owner sanded it off.  what the heck was he thinking???  saved me money though.

WHITE   -  Next batch...... as you guys say.....

Today is the 5th.    i guess my mortgage will wait till my next paycheck on may 14... Oh no i promised that to Bruce Johnson....

anyone interested in buying some of my stuff ))))))

Nice blue BaCH with chrome covers! Do we know him? Or is he one of us and I missed something?

Well, I replaced the volume pot, as suggested, and it's a noticeable difference.  I took it to the gig last night, and used it for the first set.  Big, fat sound.  The CTS pot is the way to go.  I hope to have pics up sometime this week, if my bandmates will part with them.

Sweet! Do you have the part number handy for the CTS pot you used?
