I wonder how many of these were produced fretless. The shipping total book doesn't show any.... A few fretless Rippers are listed.  :P

I know Uwe can't stand the wait. We also know how much better the bridge would look better in ***k. What were they thinking back then? After all chrome went out out in the 60'!

Roughly how many RD's were produce altogether...?

Some silent RD fretless lover out there! But moren than 2.000 bucks for an RD is steep, I didn't pay that much for my CMT which still had the protective foil on it.

There will be others and I have enough fretless basses as is, besides it's reassuring that I do not yet have everything that Gibson ever brought out as a series option.

I'm just glad you're not into collecting the basses I am! :)

It seems like no matter what I bid on, one person, somewhere in the world wants it worse than I do. If it were many, it would be easier to take. Sorry you didn't get it, maybe the next one will be a CMT fretless.

I guess I have to wait for that maho prototype they build for Ralphe Armstrong to crop up one day. He sold it to some woman bass player that doesn't answer Jules' emails IIRC.

unlucky Uwe, but you are right, these are rare, but another one will come up, probably at a more reasonable price.

And no, the lady in question never answered my emails, but when that eventually comes up, you've certainly got a battle on your hands!

You have enough basses, Jules.

With me it's another matter, us Krauts need Lebensraum! Maybe if I send the nice lady a letter threatening to invade if she does not surrender the bass schnell und sofort, then that will help?
