Beautiful color. Overly optimistic seller. Only two v63s recently sold on eBay went for $2525 (turquoise, from Japan) and $1627 (MG, from USA).

Generally not into modifying but I like this mod. I'm also not big on exotic woods but the burl guard looks good here.

Ugh. The guard isn't that bad, the Hipshot bridge is okay, but turning a 4003 into a 4000 and replacing the logo TRC? No thanks.

You have to wonder about people who make irreversible mods and then turn around and put it up for sale.

If the original parts were included it would be reversible.

Maybe, depends on what's under the pickguard. But the parts and the original case aren't included.

Very nice...

Noticed this at the bottom of the page... 1967 4005 ... pricey though...?

$11K, with 4005's you never know, someone may actually pay this. I would have thought $4-5K.

That's just about the last with all the "desirable features." In short order, the crushed pearl inlays went away. The "horseshoe" pickup in the treble/bridge position went away in 1968.

And almost needless to say, beautiful gradual application of the cherry burst AKA Fireglo. Not a clown in sight.
