2050 El Dorado in poor condition but all original, listed as "70's 3001", $500 starting bid.

Could look much better with some Scratch-X and Zymol. Good deal if it stays near this price. The seller says "neck is twisted a little?"

When it's clean and shiny (Catalog picture) this is the only 2000/3000 Series bass that I find attractive.

I suspect someone got a real bargain, unless that neck is worse off than I think and can't be corrected with a proper TR adjustment.

You know it's my favorite RIC color. This one is lovely but "the truss rod is minimally adjustable so the bass plays best with light gauge strings" - sign of an unhealthy neck, I don't know if that's a $4K bass.

'67 4005 Azureglo, restored by Paul Wilczynski. $7,950

The body and neck are original, basically everything else is new, including the fretboard and frets. Paul W installed a modern double-action truss rod.
