Didn't know that Gibson made LP basses with a bolt on neck? Nothing looks right about this one to me.

The Gibson logo isn't even centered right. Plus the angle is wrong too.

The headstock shape is exactly the same as the one of my Japanse Triumph copy. And the diamond inlay (fake m.o.p) is the same too.

i contacted this guy and told him whats what with his bass. he said i was wrong, don't bid on it, stick it blah blah blah. i do this often (bored) when i see errors on the bay. most people are grateful for the info. not this little turd, however.

Just goes to show that 100% positive feedback is no guarantee of honesty. And I'm not surprised, considering the disclaimer about what some music store told him. This guy knows it's a fake.
