Yes I did.
But with BaCH that is no guarantee the pickup ends up in the right place  ;)

Honduran Mahogany is a protected species. As far as I know it is prohibited to even sell it.
Any guitar company who claims to use Honduran mahogany in new guitars is lying.

I miss the "shoulders" (where the neck meets the body) of the classic flying v shape.

I didn't say he killed music, just the CD as a media!

Which he didn't.
The music industry did it themselves.
Asking way too much money ever since the CD was introduced. Initially they said they had to keep the price high because they couldn't produce enough for the high demand of the market.
And they kept the prices way too high ever since.
No wonder people started sharing via peer to peer sites.

he killed the CD

He didn't.
The music industry did that.
Music industry had no answer to download sites like Napster etc. They only thing they could come up with was complaining and suing.
Jobs did the music industry a huge favor by inventing iTunes. A Dollar per song. Brilliant.

The whole story is actually the perfect explanation for the fact that Gibson didn't develop or produce their own pickups for the RD Sig.
With a total production of less than 500 it would be too costly to even make new pickup casings etc etc.

But they could have chosen something less generic and less 7ender looking...

That says more about the camera-man and editor of the documentary than of Gibson's interest in bass guitars.
