True, lots of cool sounding meaningless pop lyrics.
They can't all be Neil Peart, you know :)

Sad loss, but he left some footprints..

I have a '63 EBOF, Scott. Let me know if you need transistors for the fuzz circuit, I bought a few extra when I did mine. If you go for the bakelite cover, it' s easy enough to build, by glueing two sheetets together. Broken bakelite radios are ample in supply, both black and brown🙂

Also a fan of both Yes and Rush...

I generally don't play either when my wife is in the car, though.

One more thumb up for Rush!

Mike Rutherford did a pretty fine job as well.

At this point there were many good rick players, let's add Lemmy and Jon Camp to the list🙂

EDIT: Ilan beat me there..

I’ve always avoided EB-0’s with those tuners. Never had a bass with them so not sure why I avoid them other than they look cheap………
I have them on my Epi ET280. They are worse than banjo tuners😳

Merry Christmas from Norway🌲🌨🙂

I used banjo tuners on my explorer bass,  and even with a set of  short skinny TI rounds the A string is slipping.

It would match my SB-300. Maybe I should bring it back from Holland,  going down there in a couple of weeks.

That bridge position looks like the regular scale. Did they shorten the body?
I like the old thicker horns .
The Rinus bass looks like it has normal bridge position,  but different neck joining.

I'd love to have a shortie rick. My old 4001 don't get much playtime anymore. Not a fan of above colours,  but a short rick is a definite turn-on. White short 4000 with checkerbinding please

now I want to try mandolin frets !

Just buy an old Jolana Diamant bass :) It's a fretless wonder for sure! Less expensive too.

Geoff Tate makes sense. Didn't 'queen of the reich' surface when dickinson joined maiden?
