« on: February 01, 2014, 05:52:44 AM »Holy shit! I TOTALLY stole that bass line (and tone) from "Big Train" and for one of our originals in my old band and I've never heard that song before. Our song had one more chord and was originally in a different key and that is the only difference. It's probably the same age, too. I've not ever been that big of a Mike Watt fan, but I think that's pretty cool.
years ago I wrote a song 'Velvet Elvis' (kind of a heartland rock tune) and maybe a month or two the Stray Cats released 'Elvis on Velvet'.
I couldn't believe it. of course the songs sound quite different. it happens, what can you say?
