There was nothing in the world
That I ever wanted more
Than to feel you deep in my heart
There was nothing in the world
That I ever wanted more
Than to never feel the breaking apart
All my pictures of you

Well I was kind of reluctant to mention this given the general sensitivity around this particular brand/subject, but the "four-thousand-five" is a model that could also leverage that bridge, along with a readily available tailpiece (ala the Epi/Rogue/etc.. Hoffie clones):

That wouldn't fly. That particular company protects their designs fervently. The Bach web site had at one time a very nice all mahogany four thousand three clone for sale. Once word hit a particular forum it was pulled.

I would prefer a NR IV, but I'd buy an Embassy too.

I marvel how people volunteer for what is essentially the most unbalanced bass in the world!
One of it's many charms, As many times told my main bass since '77. I never found them all that neck heavy. I think the younger generation is spoiled, "oh it must hang just so" Goldie locks syndrome if ya ask me.  ;D

Didn't know you covered Bay City Roller's stuff, Scott...  ;D (ducking for "covers"...)

I hope your guitarist has asked the permission of the Queen to wear that tartan, Scott...? I am not 100% sure if it is "Royal Stewart" but The Royal Household has exclusive rights to it, for some archaic reasons...

Uwe, can't you claim them back, at least the Germanic side, then "Exiled" can have the remainder...  ;)

I had never realised how different the body shape was... the classic "reverse" is not...

I just thought of this last night - I'm surprised nobody has suggested a LP Jr. style EB-0. Those are beautiful! I'd probably turn mine into a "Gene" bass with the "mudbucker" toward the bridge. Maybe try tracking down one of those SG RI TB+-disguised-as-mudbucker pups.  ;D

Staffan suggested a Jr. style EB-0 near the start of this thread, that's why it's in the poll. He suggested long scale and with a T-bird pickup.

We all know the Bay City Rollers nicked the tartan bit from Slade.  ;D

Oops... Sorry, been sick all week. Maybe the long scale part made me ignore it. I don't like that body with a long neck.
