Color turned out great! Ebony board or does the background make it look darker than it is?

Just a shot of the headstock? How's about  a full body shot?

Sorry, had to get it packed and shipped!  Ebony fretboard, Gotoh vintage reverse tuners, ThunderBucker MAX pickup, God of Thunder pickguard and tailpiece...the G.O.T. signature model.

And for grins as a 2 pup.

I'm really happy with the way this one came out, especially the way it SOUNDS!  I learned a few things with the painted neck and TR plate.  Hope you dig it, Scott. Last bass for 2012.  Tomorrow I get started on Project ExplorerBird 2013.

Carlo I have now doubt I am going to love it! She goes right into rotation behind my trusty '67. Typically I have two NRs onstage and spend equal time with each. Often it is the '67 with the white Dimarzio Model G powered NR Fenderbird I built. The new G.O.T. NR will replace my NR Fenderbird bass onstage. Just looking at the pictures makes me drool that is one fine looking bass! We have a Gig December 8th I am going to do my best to get video/audio of it, at the very least pictures!  I probably shouldn't say this but I am way more excited about this bass than Gibsons new NR.
