If you got it for a low ball offer, then you did fine.

The Tempe store had the repair guy in the spot by the door, but recently moved him to the other side of the wall where he can't see anyone coming or going. They try to have someone at the front desk next to guitars but if it's very busy they are moving around helping people out. I can see where they could be a bit distracted and if someone like this guy timed it just right, could walk right out with little notice.

All of the GC's in my area have stopped checking you at the door. I rarely even see anyone close to the door when I enter and leave. But you do still stand the chance of encountering at least one employee smoking out front. Maybe that is their new "relaxed surveillance" system.

That is good customer service!! Nice to know that some companies still understand how this works.

I like his new album quite a bit. I think it was a good collaboration between Iggy and Josh Homme. Thanks for posting this Dave!

True, it's just a booster for all frequencies - a passive TB Plus turned up very loud + some subwoof. The combo is much better than with the Bart pups on the (then higher-priced) Deluxe version. The TB Plus colors the Bart active elctronics rather than the other way around.

I'd keep it, but while you're at it, why not add a switch to deactivate it at your choice? At a gig with bad acoustics, an active bass can sometimes be handy***. Don't ever quote me with that!

***So is a passive switch if your battery has run out and you have no spare with you!

That's what I did with my Les Paul Std. bass. I put a push/pull knob in so I could switch between active/passive if I wanted. It was a great upgrade I thought.

The first book that I sent weren't autographed. I simply didn't think about it.
I never let anything sign for me, so I  didn't realise some of you really want someone to scribble into a brandnew book!  8)
But I guess you're never too old to learn. I will stain the books from now on, if you insist, haha.

@ Chris: Thank you! You've been a great help.
(@ Uwe: Thank you too. Without you I couldn't have made the book!)

If you have not shipped mine then I would be honored to have you sign mine.

I'm order 246. Rob are you signing each copy? I wouldn't say no to the authors signature in my copy.
