Gibson Basses / Re: Hello, I am A Gibson Bass addict......
« on: January 18, 2008, 10:22:44 PM »
I'm not sure that I'm an addict yet, but as of this week I have 2 Gibsons. I have my beloved 01 ebony T-bird and my wife shocked the Hell out of me a couple of nights ago when she came home with my LP Standard bass!  :o (I was going to pick it up next week but she wanted to suprise me!)

In the past I've owned a 76 ebony T-bird (that I have kicked myself in the ass contiuously since trading it) and just a couple of months ago I bought & sold 2 Epi NR T-birds. Maybe I have more of a "problem" than I thought!

They make a double cut Slammer in 3/4 scale. They are on Ebay all the time.

I got that carbon fiber pickguard for my tbird, but he said he needed a tracing for the trc.  Does he make them now?  I never got around to tracing my trc and sending it to him (holidays got a hold of me, my time, and my wallet).

The trc I bought was the one he had listed as a NR trc. It's the 20mm spacing also. The one I bought was exactly like my original one was.

This is the Ebay store where I bought my carbon fiber pickguard & trc.

He told me he would do one with the bird in any material he had. The bird on this one is done from underneath. Based on mine, if he uses the same way on all of them then the bird could be any color. Of course mine might be made different because of the materials.

BTW, he sell Epi & Gibson trc's for other models as well, so if you don't like the $$$$ bass trc, you could get a repro from him.

It's made for the NR body, but not sure about it fitting the headstock. There is another auction for an Epi Goth T-bird and it has a B C Rich bag like John mentioned.
