When I first saw this listing I noticed the odd layout of the controls.  Then I saw the headstock-This thing could be a weapon in the wrong hands!  ;D

Headstock looks like a crow's beak.

AFAIK, ESP never had a production model with that control layout or headstock, so I believe the custom order claim. Price is not out of line for a Japanese ESP.

Guess I was wrong! that one has the same headstock and control layout.

LTD is ESP's secondary line, I doubt it's one of those.

I'm suddenly reminded of those aluminium Veleno (?) guitars...

Louder bass!.

Dave W

Nice Veleno. IIRC Veleno made only one bass, for Todd Rundgren.

i think peter haycock from the climax blues band played a veleno at times. his looked gold plated. not real gold of course. :-\

Ace Frehley experimented with a Veleno, as well as a Travis Bean on the ALIVE! tour.

Mark Farner used one, and who made Todd's Ankh guitar...?

John Veleno. Todd's Veleno bass was also an Ankh.
