No, the neck is wood, according to this brief GP story, and there's no glue holding the Lego blocks.

It's obvious from his FB page that he prefers using wood. Doesn't hurt to experiment, though.

Legos are good for most things except for stepping into them at night barefooted, groping in the dark while looking for a crying child. A classic parental experience, you're wide awake within seconds. Great Danes, just great.

There are numerous examples of Lego construction and those sad enough to build them... just outside the "Gherkin" in the City of London there is a (presently vandalised, or at least it was; no surprise there) there is a replica in Lego blocks...

And yes, I still have a box of Lego here from my childhood, including 13 of my first yellow blocks, complete with chew-markings... Wish I'd kept my Meccano set though... :o

Those chewed yellow blocks would be excellent for a relic version of that guitar. Mellows out the tone.  ;)
