Hilarious and a totally exact depiction of real life - hey, I've had my bass sound sound"checked" like that!

I cried a little bit. Like Spinal Tap it's too true....

Even worse. Before the 'real' soundcheck you dial in your amp and when it's your turn the sound guy says: I already got you... Happened to me too often.

Love the extensive bass solo at the end.

I usually get um ok that's great let me gear your clean sound. Me that is my clean sound.

I've had that when sound checking with an EB-0 ... "Can you put some treble in?" "No, but I can dial it down a bit more ...".

Yup.  My '64 EB-0 has two pickups - mudbucker and Dimarzion Model One.  Two volume knobs (one for each pickup), no tone knob. No one in their right mind would need to CUT the treble from either pickup.

I can relate - most times I'm lucky to get through two bars of something before the sound engineer says he's ok.
