Yeah, why not have both...

I love this Gibson advertisement quote. You see a couple of nice SGs, LPs and 335s and they state:

'Why have one? Rock 'n roll just isn;t about monogamy.'

Or something like that;)

Haaahaaaahaaaaa I LUVVIT!!

I've got 2 Gibsons & some Gibson copies.

How many basses have you got now, dr. bassman????
I'm gonna go out on a limb here & say:
"Yep. I think you're crazy." :D

I think it's bad Gibson's promoting GAS, but they dn't do anything to solve that: making basses.

Right. One of my 2 lefty Gibsons is a guitar--a 6 string--LP.
The other....well most of you know is a '53 righty made lefty.
It grieves me. My Epi V is my fav bass. I should just off the fokking '53.
Gonna make one more attempt to get it & my 70s Ampeg Rig happening.
They both HUM like whores on drugs!! Star Spangled Banner Hummers!! hahahaaa
I gotta laugh to keep from cryin'. I put a lot into those bitches.

poomwah

crazy??? are you kidding, that thing is GORGEOUS

Well, I've been mulling it over and  I'm still interested!  Even with weak pups (sound like a j bass?) , my Mesa could boost her up. I am not shy about liking the looks first then considering the sound.

How many basses do I have? I don't count so I don't have to lie when my wife asks!!
I'm fixin' a hole where the rain gets in..........cuz I'm built for a kilt!

If your amp has got the juice (and a Mesa does) I'm sure you can make it sound good. A good EQ and a bit of gain can do wonders for a lifeless pickup. As I said earlier , Mosrites have a real nice feel. Still not my cup of tea, but a strong amp with a few bells and whistles can get the job done.

I have never played a Mosrite but I think the design of the Mark I, II... models looks really cool, especially for guitars.

The bass looks quite good as well, here's one on the bay

OK, I couldn't resist.  I bid once and I got a really good deal on it, so it's on its way to me.  All original with original case.
