Original tailpiece?

godofthunder

Yes the bridge will be a two piece bridge with the airfoil tailpiece. So there will be three screws and three pilot hole to drill for installation.

Hmm.  In light of this malarky (and apologising is advance for coming over to the New Jedi Order), but now I'm wondering whether it's time to consider de-blacking and chroming-up one of my 'birds.

I hate you.

The future I come from no longer exists.

We'll just have to wait and see.  :)

I can't imagine Scott releasing any pics or plans before he's ready to take orders.

I did a test installation on the Butcherbird with the original Badbird. Aside from not being wide enough to intonate I was happy with the results.

Nice, Scott! That looks lovely. I can't wait to see the finished model.

Great idea! Much nicer alternative to the 3-point than either the Babicz or Hipshot IMO.

Shoot...Just plug and redrill... it's worth it to have an intonated bass with Perfect sustain...Of all the changes Gibson did.. they REALLY should have used the Tune o matic on ALL of their basses.. Period.

godofthunder

Plug and redrill isn't really practical, it would involve touch up or refinishing. I don't want to get into that I wanted to produce something just about anyone can install.

Nice Scott!

Now all you need to do is make a chrome button with Dasson logo for that third hole.
