Hello Group!
Thought I'd share this...

The Feb 2015 issue of Bass Player magazine is a tribute to Jack Bruce.
My Jack Bruce rig that I use for my Cream tribute, "Tales Of Cream", is featured on "Dig My Rig", page 12!

Good to see your impressive collection receive well deserved attention.
Did Jack mod his EB-3 with a toggle? Care to elaborate any further on how you wired the pickups? For instance, do you use the tone choke and have you done anything to balance the pickups better when they're both engaged?
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

Way cool. Too often, in JB discussions, the Dano is left out.

Thanks!
If you see Cream's performance at the Revolution Club you'll see Jack's 1961 EB-3 with a toggle.

I have that wired, I believe, the same way that Jack did; 1 Vol / 1 Tone, both pickups on together.
...If you look close at pictures of his Dano you'll see the Gibson knobs.

Yeah, I've noticed that, never knew what the deal was. I should do that to mine, I tire of the concentric knob silliness.

Looking at that show now. I think it looks like Jack soloed the bridge pick up from what I could see of the toggle, at least on Spoonful. Do you agree?
