What's the plans for the old neck...?

No big plans. If this new neck works out, I'll just keep it together with the bass. If it doesn't work out, I'll look into refinishing it as was the original plan.  If one of the LBO Brothers ends up with an unfortunate neck accident, it may have to go back to work..........

That makes sense...

I don't know if you go down the un-metalled road but otherwise it could be a fretless candidate... ;)

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

I just ran into this on the Gibson web page.................. mentions the 20/20............

Whaddaya know, they published an article that's somewhat knowledgeable.

You and the other 20/20 owners ought to speak up in the comments.

The 20/20 re-neck project was finished today. I think he did a great job! The nitro on the neck has to yellow a bit to be a perfect match, but I think the new neck is a huge improvement, plays great too!

I had no idea they were anywhere near me. Either the shop must not be open to the public, or I just haven't noticed.

He has a shop behind his house, just off of Viking Blvd. I run into him a few months back buying something he had for sale off Craigslist. I think it's the same place I bought my EB-0F at Roger Benedict's Estate sale.
