Quote from: Pilgrim on April 05, 2025, 11:32:53 AMThat's one of the most visually striking basses I have seen. Part of it is the colors, but it really shows off the design.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!

Quote from: Ken on April 05, 2025, 07:29:41 PMBeautiful, Brad.  Is the paint job supposed to be reminiscent of the Ford GT40?

Yes, it's the Gulf livery, but may actually be Porsche paint codes.

Quote from: BTL on March 29, 2025, 01:32:43 PMI sold this Ridler IV a while back, but forgot to take photos before I shipped it. It showed up on the resale market, so I grabbed these photos from the listing after it sold again.

Looks mighty clean!
The photographs as well.

Day to day life at Lowe Custom Guitars requires skills in multiple disciplines. I don't consider myself a "luthier", but I'm 100% comfortable with the terms "designer" and "builder". Although they're not widely adopted in the guitar world, I feel like "creator" and "producer" might be the terms that fit what I do the best.

Over the past few weeks, I have been focused on updating my website. It runs on a Wordpress platform, and I have a few graphic-artist and programmer friends who have helped out with various aspects of the design and implementation over the years. The images are a mix of photographs and renderings that give people a reasonable sense of what they can expect to see when a complete build or a stand-alone part ends up in their hands.

I'm very proud of the current iteration, which is very much a product of my own work as well as the creative input/output of several others. It's a real team effort.

As he does, Morrell Roberts finished the newest batch of 32" scale conversion necks, now with updated headstock shapes. 🙂

I like the Barth influence in the Comboluxe IV.

The Comboluxe is my personal favorite so I really hope it gains a following. :)

I posted newly completed instruments for sale on Reverb.com.
