Son of a gun, I believe we have an answer to that age old question, "what bass is best for metal"?
I'm thinking this has got to be it ;D.

Back in the mid 90s I saw an opening band at a local gig whose bassist was playing shirtless. He had nipple rings and had a BIC lighter attached to one of them. He invited audience members to come up between songs and light their cigarettes.

IIRC he was playing a Hofner copy but this bass would probably suit him.
