Remember the American Lives Lost today and be thankful for our Freedom. NEVER FORGET.

Honolulu radio station KGU reports the attack via phone to NBC in New York.  First eyewitness account of the attack.  Ironically, the call is interrupted by a phone operator for an "emergency call."

Cool to be able to hear the actual News Reports. Unfortunately, I think this post will be deleted and viewed as racist Hate crime.

My dad didn't always use the most diplomatic language when discussing a situation in which people were trying to kill him for four years.  However, the greatest danger now may be apathy, ignorance, and a general lack of knowledge.  Ask the average person on the street what Pearl Harbor was all about and who knows what kind of answers you'd get?  Sometimes I see things on TV in which people on the street are asked questions and they don't even know who the vice president is or who the first president was.

Yes, I know.  Kind of off the topic, but an illustration of how sensitive and easily offended some people can be.  I've just had someone tell me that he wouldn't have approved of where my band used to practice because he didn't think it was a very suitable practice area.  I don't know whether to be angry or laugh.  I cannot see how that could possibly be any of his business.  Plus, he doesn't even have the most basic facts on what was really going on.  Yet, he is the freaking expert on it all (he thinks.)

You are way out of line. We discuss history here all the time. If you don't understand the difference between remembering a historical occasion and using racial slurs, then you aren't very bright. And if you do understand the difference, then you're trolling.
