You know how that goes, especially here on the Interwebz. Nobody would believe that our moderator was actually in Seattle, WA. of all places, unless of course there were some good evidence - Here you go, one undercover Drag Queen, one German Lawyer and a 15 year old Blue Subaru  ;D
Thank you Uwe and Edith for a wonderful evening, both Alison and I truly enjoyed meeting you both. This is one case of the Internet leading to something very nice. Uwe is a very warm, engaging and friendly man, the four of us conversed for three hours over dinner in a nice downtown Seattle eatery, they good naturedly heard my rusty German and kept smiling.
We'll spend some more time later this week, there's basses to be played!

Mark, you've cut your hair shorter.  Still looks good.

Even more impressive, you found level ground to park on.  That's a trick in Seattle.

It's an actual Uwe sighting!

Awesome! I would like nothing more than to meet up with my LBO brothers! I'm lucky Dr Bill is in town and I have had the pleasure of meeting Baz.

Very cool. I've met two of my international imaginary bass friends over the years.  Rob Francis had a stopover in Sydney about 6 years ago and we had time for lunch, and a couple of years before that Bob Fusillo dropped in to Jakarta for a couple of days of eating and drinking when I was living in Indonesia.
Cheers

I had the pleasure of having lunch with Mark while on a trip to Seattle a couple of years ago. Super guy, great conversationalist - it was a real pleasure!
