My three are all easily, noticeably different in tone - I never even had a guess as to why until Scott mentioned that there was quite a bit of difference in pickups. I don't know if Gibson produced their own for '76s or if the came from outside.

Carlo's white one sure looks great, had any of mine been anywhere near that nice I wouldn't have re finished them.
