Wow does this V63 sound and play great. The neck is a dream. It has Chromes on it and is much punchier and more articulate than any other bass I've had them or any other flats on really. I rolled back the neck volume a pinch and it just sings. I love how it responds to digging in and/or backing off with your right hand attack and how good it sounds no matter how hard you play. Played it with a pick some too. That's some full, in your face, take no prisoners percussive clack! I figured I would end up taking the flats off because the 74 sounded so great with steel round wounds but I'm going to leave them on.
