Most mod packages from v.1 don't work on v.2, and those that do have to be reinstalled. Before I got anti-spam mods installed, I got 7 spambot registrations from Poland. Hopefully the new mods will be as effective as the old ones at keeping the pests out.
I've also installed Simple Audio Video Embedder which is described as "An auto embed media modification for SMF that takes links for popular video websites and adds a player directly into the post or bbc area of your website." But so far I don't see it working. I'm not surprised that past posts aren't showing up as embedded, my concern is that I don't see any button for a player in the posting area. There must be a way to make this happen, the mod installed without a hitch. I'll have to investigate.
