Lily Allen
« on: November 14, 2013, 07:02:36 AM »
Never heard of her before yesterday. Some of her songs I rather like as she's not quite in the same mold as some of the other cookie cutter pop star women out there.

However, at 3:08 in this video I almost blew coffee all over my keyboard and pretty much snickered the rest of the day.

Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?

Rumor has it, they were trying to create "an American Lily Allen" when they created Katy Perry's career. And by "they", I mean the dying music industry.  :bored:

I'd say the American music industry isn't just dying but has died already.

It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.

She got airplay covering Kaiser Chiefs here, and I liked it.

I suppose it might be better if I were nicer about it myself.  :)
