I like the way the headstock says:

Greco-Guitar
___________
Device

Really?  It's a guitar device?  Whodathunkit?

I really like Greco's a lot, they have a certain Japanese charm that's theirs alone. The case for my Greco TBII has a little plaque on it that states "Faultless Case for Greco Guitar" love it!  ;)

Just to be clear - is that 4 single coils or 2 buckers with an oddly large space between the coils?

It is our God-given duty to serve our fellow man, woman, or uncertainties ...  ;)

I not only serve uncertainties, I'm a carrier.   :toast:

I feel so righteous now ;D. I think we should swear everyone in with an oath. Something like, "Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, or anything but the truth? " Then we work in our God given duty part, but I'm not sure if we can get away with saying "God" ??? :o. I do agree that we're doing Gods work here though :P.

I prefer the oath offered by Jack Douglas, author of epic works including "Never Trust A Naked Bus Driver", "My Brother Was an Only Child" and the story of his family's move to Alaska, "Shut Up And Eat Your Snowshoes."

That oath: "I am not now and never have been."

Works for me.

I once had Ich Bin Verbotten written above my bench at the airport workshops - it is a slight misinterpretation of the language but worked for me, being that I should be forbidden existance...

As for the pledge...

I pledge allegiance to the bass, to the lower frequency that vibrates through my life, to the furtherance of the brown note, the muddiness of the tone, be it with pick or finger, with gold, nickel, chrome or plastic, with mahogany, maple or exotic mix, even the dreaded spores, with bolt, set or thru neck, and always, in bass we trust...
