Yup, maybe you guys and girl should remoniker yourself to "Agent Orange"!

There's already a pretty well-known band by that name - the bass player, Sam Bolle, tours with Dick Dale.  He's a pretty fantastic bass player.

He also tours sometimes with Los Straitjackets, a killer surf band...

But since Los Straitjackets all play gold metalflake instruments, he has to leave his beloved '72 P at home.  This is the one he has played while touring with Dick Dale:

Resident T Bird playing Drag Queen www.thenastyhabits.com  "Impülsivê", the new lush fragrance as worn by the unbelievable Fräulein Rômmélle! Traces of black patent leather, Panzer grease, mahogany and model train oil mingle and combust to one sheer sensation ...

No purple basses, tho......   ;D

No thread-busting intended.

That's how my Precision looks, only mine is not quite as Roadworn. Same color same pickguard, etc.

yeah, it's a nice bass. It was made a little after the first SB450's (sometime in mid '72) - but was using the same body blank. Obviously an idea they'd been toying with for a while (see the EB in the 1970 catalogue)

Now I'm hoping to find a pic from the '72 NAMM show showing it on display...

I've actually seen one EB Bass, at Encore Music in Minneapolis maybe a dozen years ago. So at least one of those actually made it out of the factory.

This later EB-0L, OTOH, may be as elusive as Uwe's longed-for Continental V.
