You know He doesn't kollect for fins... between that fin and the control plate it really looks like a proto SB, just with better hardware.

It's not just a different fin. It's a bridge model between the 72-style EB-0 and the SB.

I agree! I have never seen this bass, always something new.

I am a beaten man - no, I don't have one like that though I should. Those alder wood EBs are a rarity of mythical proportions, this is the bigfoot of Gibson basses! Blurry pictures in catalogs

Contrary to what some people in some forums sometimes say, SBs are fine basses.  :-X
