Oh my. That's a good price for an unbroken Embassy. Looks original except for the knobs.

It is a good price. Original knobs could drive it up another 25% or more.

It's also missing the truss rod cover. I'm still wondering how mine never checked in all these years. It's not as if I babied it. I'd bet you took better care of it than I did.

Insanely affordable price...I personally think that the vintage guitar market is done and all vintage instruments will be affordable to us once again...or...Our investments have dropped.

Wow that is a very nice price. Hmmmmmmmmm I have never had a Embassy. I think prices will rise again maybe, not to pre 2008 levels. Right now there are defiantly bargains to be had.

I agree, Scott. I've scored many great basses and guitars off Craigslist when people started dumping them to get cash. I've even had two guys agree to hold basses for a week until I could roadtrip the couple of hours to go get them. The key is to say you'll pay cash, will pick it up and give the guy your phone number. THEN check back and give him a timetable.
