I can't help but notice that he's not parting out either of those 2 Fender P's he's got listed.  Fuggin dickbag.

LOL at the LP Bass output jack for $25, though.

Haha yeah saw that too. We should bombard him with questions about the jack output. If it's a genuine 1969. If it has any nicks or other damage. If it sounds as muddy as all Gibsons. etc

Those Dolby encoder/decoder units came out of a broadcast TV rack, probably when a station converted to high def or got closed down/hub controlled. All the other stuff would easily have been in an in-house promotion/ad production suite. From that, one. can infer that he works in television at a high enough level of management to take stuff home, so he obviously has no soul. That's a good price on the Alesis multitrack, though.

Golly-Gosh...! What would this pair have been fitted to...?

Normally a they showed up on the earliest versions of the L-5S. This custom ordered LPR happens to be for sale on eBay, I've never seen one of these before..................

I've got a pair of those (one is in a Gibson LP Jumbo inspired archtop acoustic, and the other as a spare).

I'm not convinced that those goldies are stock to that LPR, but it's possible.

They are just regular LoZ geetar pups with gold plate over the usual black resin.  Not worth the premium (especially without the matching mounting hardware!)  unless you are restoring an L5-S. or just really like gold.  I don't, but this girl worked out real nice:

For reference here's the L5-S and the LP Jumbo:

I've got gold issues... I blame PC for that... ;)

(ta for the info, Gents...)

When I was off work sick for 6 weeks back in '03 my neighbour loaned me his all maple L5 which matched my RD... just beautiful to play and the sound through my Marshall/Hiwatt combo was just so... 8)

Hey Granny! That's a most beautiful guitar you've got there, the dark one with the gold pickup! What is it? I mean, like brand name, how old, how's the acoustic sound, the neck?

It's a late 50s to 60s Harmony.  Pretty shitty guitar (no truss rod adjustment for example; no binding or top/back endgrain treatment).  The acoustic sound is very midrangey (a typical low end blues box) - I like it for that, but it's no dreadnaught.  It came to me refinned with way too thick poly, which sucked all the bass it did have out of it; sounded like a tin pot.  I stripped and stained it, finished in Tung oil.  I also had to reglue a few bits (back to the side at the butt end).  Overall probably not worth the work, but I couldn't bring myself to hack up a nicer guitar for this project.

The neck is a nice vintage V (like the new Loar guitars, but not as pointy - either Loar exaggerated the shape or 2+ sanding/refins on this one took the edge off, litterally).  Very comfortable to play, but I do wish the high E was not quite so close to the edge of the board.  I used to own a Loar as well (higher end nitro finished one), but sold it off.  It sounded a bit fuller in the bottom, but there was something about the midrange and treble that bothered me.  Plugged in, this thing has bass for days.  I always planned to make the typical Gibson LoZ circuit as an external stomp box (to preserve what body the acoustic tone does have), but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Original (to me) condition: http://grannygremlin.com/images/nonwebpics/projects/Harmony%20Archtop/Before/  (very pretty in white, but sounded like poo).
