To avoid being hypocritical, wouldn't Rickenbacker have to invent a brand new color that's never been used before on a guitar or bass by any other company? Would suck for them to copy someone else :-)

I'll bet you could buy a slightly used Ric, and have it re-finished in white for less than these will go for.

Good looking bass. Love white, especially on a Ric.
