He played on many Zappa albums.
RIP, George, and thanks for all the music.
Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?
Clocks.

Yeah, that was a shock!

Great recent interview:

He's talking about a sample package he did, but also talks some personal history and shows some gear (including a clavinet with a whammy bar!)

Castlebar!

Here's one in action.  Voodoo Chile and Black Dog sound kinda whack, but I like the Back in Black/War Pigs medley around 1:38  :)

I hope he fuses well wherever he is now.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

There is a new release of Roxy and Elsewhere coming out with bonus material. The band were very tight by the time they recorded the Helsinki concert but I think the stuff from the Roxy grooves a little more. Hope George is having a great jam on the other side.

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

makes me realize how much I really miss those Haloween concerts at the Paladium  every year....

That's one "hell" of a band up there... rip...

If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Well, I was looking for something else to share elsewhere, but I found this and thought you would enjoy it.
