They've all aged, but wow, Jennifer Aniston sure has changed!  ;D

Iggy doesn't age, he just exists, always has, always will. And he never had a de-Greeking nose job like Jenny had either, that betrayeress and concealer of her ethnic roots.

Plus he saved his career into the autumn/winter of his life while Jenny has real issues making the transition from eternal "girl next door waiting for Mr Right" to what people call "character roles". No director seems to see her as a mom (lamentably, no experience of hers in real life) or even jilted wife (equally lamentably, some experience of hers in real life!). Her career has pretty much grinded to a halt and unlike the Brangelinas who are superstars even when they don't play in films for longer periods Jenny's private life is a lot like her acting: kind of shallow.

I was never a fan. And incidentally: No match for Gwyneth P. either, stimmt's Dave?

Wait, that's Iggy? I thought it was Jenny with a TV Eye on me.  :P

You're right about Aniston's career, but I don't know what you mean by "no match for Gwyneth P." If you mean being shallow, she's no match for Gwyneth, and at least she doesn't seem to be a loony. I wouldn't know about their talents.

Iggy is two days older than I am, and he just keeps on going. He's never had the kind of success I think he deserves.

I never liked that show..........Don't care much for J.A, either.
Resident T Bird playing Drag Queen www.thenastyhabits.com  "Impülsivê", the new lush fragrance as worn by the unbelievable Fräulein Rômmélle! Traces of black patent leather, Panzer grease, mahogany and model train oil mingle and combust to one sheer sensation ...

Seriously, Paltrow for all her personal issues (with which she seems to come to terms with) is a better actress than Ms Aniston. That said, Aniston was typecast (perhaps she went willingly along). I saw one film with her years ago, an off the wall indie picture where she probably played for the Actors' Union minimum wage where she played a white trash cashier girl/damaged good and that was a relief, there was actually some depth. But generally she takes little chances in her roles, she's not, say, Charlize Theron who seems to move effortlessly from light to serious entertainment and from playing good to outright evil characters.

Iggy hasn't been wise about his career all the time either and I'm not talking about the Stooges days, those were sins of a youth. He was on a good track with Brick by Brick and American Caesar, I like him in singer/songwriter mode so much better than when he belts out his punkish hard rock, let's face it, he neither has the range nor the pitch perfectness for music like that. But he can do beautiful things with just an acoustic guitar and little else backing him. But that seems to bore him after a while. More recently he seems to be reverting back to it though.

I saw him play a minor role in the absurd dark comedy "Suck."  It isn't a movie to be taken seriously, believe me.  It's about a band whose female bassist becomes a vampire.  Iggy plays the owner/engineer of a small recording studio.
It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.

I'm almost sure Neil Peart had a cameo role in that "Suck" movie as a border patrol agent.  Not being a Rush fan, and not being completely sure what he looks like, I can't say with certainty.  But it's a bit of trivia I accidentally ran across once.  As for the movie itself , yes, it's truly a bad movie.

It was Alex Lifeson that played the border guard. Alice Cooper also has a part in the movie, as does Henry Rollins.

Henry Rollins played his part well.  Alice Cooper, on the other hand, was flat-out boring.  I have seen several comments that Neil Peart did play one of the border guards.  But I wouldn't know Neil Peart from the man in the moon.  I think it was just a rumor that maybe a few people believed.  I did think it might be true, though.

I want to see a band with Lemmy on bass, Keith on guitars, Iggy on vocals. Maybe Charlie on drums? You can''t beat that.
